Ingrid Halvorsen
Founding Principal
Founded Strata in Oslo in 2009 after a decade with Snøhetta and OMA. Leads the studio’s cultural and civic work, and teaches structural poetics at the Oslo School of Architecture.
Tomás Ribeiro
Founding Principal
Opened the Lisbon atelier in 2016. Formerly of Aires Mateus, Tomás leads residential and hospitality commissions, with a particular obsession for lime, brick and Atlantic light.
Aiko Tanaka
Director, Structural Engineering
Chartered engineer leading our integrated engineering group. Author of papers on low-carbon precast systems; designed the rippled facade of the MASA Research Center.

Twenty years on Ruhr construction sites before joining Strata. Runs general contracting and design-build delivery, and personally signs off every pour above grade.
